Three high-speed motorways connect the Languedoc to the rest of France and Europe.
The A9 (from Barcelona or Montpellier/Marseille), the A61 (from Toulouse/Bordeaux) and the A75 (from Paris/the North) make getting here by car a very practical option.
A fast train (TGV) goes all the way from London St. Pancras via Paris or Lille to Béziers, just 20 minutes from the Château.
Béziers can also be reached by TGV from Barcelona. Click here for reservations.
Car hire is available at the train station.
The roads around the Château are both very good and very picturesque, so hiring a car is a great way to make the most of all the area has to offer.
You can hire a car using this booking engine which compares prices and availabilities from all car hire companies at the station or airport of your choice.
There are flights to the Languedoc from almost every major European city and many smaller ones. From outside Europe, both Toulouse and Barcelona have good international connections. Alternatively you can connect via Paris or London.
